In an early morning press release on the 27th of February, the Pakistani army spokesperson talked about 2 fighter jets being shoot down and talked about 3 pilots landing in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. However, by evening it was down to 1 pilot and 1 jet. The sudden disappearance of 2 pilots and a fighter jet made me kinda wonder what happened to them? Well, I did a bit of digging and found something really interesting. Maybe you would too.<\/p>\n

So our journey begins with this image of a crashed Indian Airforce jet that the Pakistani armed forces released and I break down the entire journey into 3 really simple steps:<\/p>\n

Step:1<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Look closely at the image and find a box with the number 80269 written on it. Now visit the F-16 database (Click here<\/a>), type the number and hit search. what you would have found is something like this:<\/p>\n

So this number corresponds to a Royal Jordanian Airforce F-16<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Step:2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now search the tail number (J-269) on google or just explore the F-16 database a bit and you will come across something which looks like this:<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you follow defence news closely you might know of the recent tension in US Pakistan relationship and Pakistan planning on buying used F-16’s from a country called Jordan. Don’t take my word for it, use the internet and search. Did you find anything interesting?<\/p>\n

Now\u00a0 “Did India shoot a Pakistani F-16?” I don’t know you tell me about it. Because according to Pakistani media no F-16s were used, but the evidence Indian officials released today point to something else. Also, they said something about a pilot dying, the second one being in the hospital and the third being just as good as anyone ejecting from an aircraft could be. We all saw the videos of a walking talking Indian pilot sipping on a cup of tea. As for the other origin and whereabouts of the other two pilots, I leave it to your better judgement. I could be wrong, I could be right but I do want this hypothesis to see the daylight.<\/p>\n
